Patrick 'PW' Farrell has taught at primary, secondary and tertiary levels throughout QLD and VIC including the Peninsula School (VIC), JMC Academy (Melbourne) and the Corinda State School (QLD).
As a sideman PW has toured internationally with artists such as country band Jetty Road (‘Golden Guitar’ winning Australian country music act), nationally with Aria award winning singer-songwriter Tyrone Noonan, appeared on national television with the likes of R&B star Jessica Mauboy (Australian Idol), performed musical theatre alongside Danielle Matthews and worked with cabaret & television personality Virginia Gay.
As a featured performer PW has toured and performed with some of Australia’s most exciting modern jazz & fusion talents at festivals such as the Indian International Guitar Festival, the Noosa Jazz Festival, Melbourne Jazz Festival and the iconic Woodford Folk Festival.
In 2011 he released his critically acclaimed debut album ‘The Life Electric’ (available on iTunes) which he composed, produced and marketed independently. In 2013 PW became a contributing writer for Bass Musician Magazine, specialising in the broader subject of music as an evolutionary phenomenon.
